This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Oversee the upgrade processes of the medication management system utilizing both clinical and technical expertise.
• Engage extensively with clients and cultivate relationships at the Director and key stakeholder levels.
• Collect customer requirements and delineate best practices, design choices, policies, and procedures.
• Guarantee timely upgrade implementations and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Exhibit proficiency in pharmacy and clinical workflows, integration of hospital and pharmacy systems, clinical device settings, interface validation, user account role design, and Active Directory.
• Provide troubleshooting and consultation on pharmacy workflows, best practices, and standardization within health systems.
• Lead strategic initiatives for upgrade delivery that enhance customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and scalability.
• Create and improve tools, frameworks, and methodologies for upgrades.
• Offer subject matter expertise for release preparedness, complex upgrade planning, and high-risk engagements.
• Propel continuous improvement through analysis of delivery trends, customer feedback, and operational metrics.
• Mentor consultants and aid in the development of team capabilities and organizational knowledge.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance delivery efficiency, customer health, and business results.
• Advocate for standardized delivery methodologies and operational consistency.
• Ensure adherence to BD policies, procedures, administrative tasks, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records.
• Build relationships with sales and service teams during pre-sale and post-upgrade transitions.
• Communicate effectively with customers, project teams, and leadership.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Proficiency in HIS/PIS systems along with pharmacy and nursing workflows.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in a healthcare setting with involvement in technical systems and computerized applications.
• Required experience with integrated delivery networks or large health systems.
• Preferred certifications include RPh and Pharmacy Technician.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Must comply with BD's auto safety standards.
• Upon hiring, proof of and maintenance of current immunizations is required, including Hepatitis B, current-year Influenza, MMR, Varicella, annual TB/PPD, and Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis.
• Capability to work independently from a home office.
• Willingness to travel 25–75%, including overnight stays.
