Senior Consultant - Procurement, Contracts, Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead transformative initiatives encompassing category management, program contract development, supply chain optimization, supplier relationship management, supplier performance oversight, procurement centers of excellence, innovation and industrial strategy, collaborative business relationship strategies, and compliance management.

• Execute strategic initiatives that include market intelligence analysis, delivery models, procurement and contract strategies, supply chain integration strategy, business cases, commercial strategies, and contract performance strategies.

• Implement major programs and projects involving market engagement, procurement and contract documentation, RFP and proposal management and evaluation, commercial contract drafting, contract and commercial alignment, contract performance management, and commercial peer reviews.

• Contribute to the enhancement of the Turner & Townsend capabilities catalog, with a focus on technology applications for clients and the industry.

• Assist in managing and supporting the team.

• Participate in business development and acquisition activities.

• Engage in initiatives related to people and culture.

• Assume responsibility for specific corporate programs and deliver measurable outcomes.

• Involve in external thought leadership development and establish a reputation as a go-to expert for Turner & Townsend services.

• Drive business growth and elevate procurement standards within the program advisory sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, contracts, or supply chain management for large capital projects in sectors such as manufacturing/technology, life sciences, real estate, public works, or infrastructure.

• Ability to operate independently based on defined requirements or specifications.

• Experience in delivering services across sectors including infrastructure, oil & gas, Net Zero, pharmaceuticals, government, manufacturing, or real estate.

• Background in creating contractual frameworks and templates that facilitate project delivery and achieve economies of scale.

• Client management experience, including the ability to present and report to all levels of client organizations, including C-Suite executives.

• Extensive understanding of procurement, contracts, or supply chain management techniques, along with regional variances.

• Practical knowledge of applying procurement, contracts, or supply chain management in broader business change management for large-scale capital works projects.

• Familiarity with construction and professional services contracts and/or supply chain agreements.

• Experience in developing RFQ/RFP documents and managing associated procurement processes, including proposal evaluation and client recommendations.

• Confident, self-sufficient, and capable of working autonomously without supervision.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Law, Construction Management, or Supply Chain Management.

• Professional accreditation in a relevant field such as CIPS, ASCM, or PMP.
