Senior Consultant – Procurement, Contracts, Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Execute transformative initiatives encompassing category management, program contract formulation, supply chain optimization, supplier relationship and performance oversight, procurement centers of excellence, innovation and industrial strategy, collaborative business relationship strategies, and compliance management.

• Implement strategic initiatives that include market intelligence assessments, delivery models, procurement and contract strategies, supply chain integration approaches, business case and commercial strategies, as well as contract performance strategies.

• Drive significant programs and projects via market engagement, procurement and contract documentation, RFP and proposal management and evaluation, drafting commercial contracts, aligning contracts and commercial terms, managing contract performance, and conducting commercial peer reviews.

• Contribute to the enhancement of Turner & Townsend’s capabilities catalog, featuring technology applications for clients and the industry.

• Assist in team management and provide support to team members.

• Aid in business development and business acquisition efforts.

• Contribute to People initiatives within the organization.

• Oversee specific corporate programs and achieve measurable results.

• Engage in external thought leadership development to become a recognized authority in the services offered.

• Support the development and execution of Turner & Townsend’s strategy while enhancing project delivery methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, contracts, or supply chain management for large capital projects within manufacturing/technology, life sciences, real estate, public works, or infrastructure sectors.

• Capability to work independently based on defined requirements or specifications.

• Experience in delivering services across sectors such as infrastructure, oil & gas, Net Zero, pharmaceuticals, government, manufacturing, or real estate.

• Familiarity with creating contractual frameworks and templates that facilitate project delivery and achieve economies of scale.

• Experience in client management.

• Ability to produce and present clear, concise, and confident presentations and reports to all levels within client organizations, including C-Suite executives.

• Comprehensive understanding of procurement, contracts, or supply chain management techniques and the regional variations.

• Applied knowledge of procurement, contracts, or supply chain management in the context of broader business change management for large-scale capital works projects.

• Knowledge and experience with construction and professional services contracts and/or supply chain agreements.

• Proficiency in developing RFQ/RFP documents and managing related procurement processes, including proposal assessment and recommendations.

• Ability to work independently without supervision.

• University degree, ideally in Engineering, Law, Construction Management, or Supply Chain Management.

• Professional accreditation in a relevant field such as CIPS, ASCM, or PMP.
