Senior Consultant – Procurement, Contracts and Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute transformative procurement initiatives, encompassing category management, program contract creation, supply chain optimization, supplier relationship and performance oversight, procurement centers of excellence, innovation and industrial strategy, business relationship strategies, and compliance management.

• Enact strategic initiatives that involve market intelligence, delivery models, procurement and contract strategies, supply chain integration, business cases, commercial strategies, and contract performance strategies.

• Drive significant programs and projects through market engagement, procurement and contract documentation, RFP and proposal management and evaluation, commercial contract drafting, contract and commercial alignment, contract performance management, and commercial peer reviews.

• Play a role in enhancing Turner & Townsend’s capabilities catalog, including technology applications for clients and the industry.

• Assist in managing the team and provide support to team members.

• Aid in business development and acquisition efforts.

• Contribute to People initiatives.

• Take ownership of specific corporate programs and deliver measurable outcomes.

• Participate in external thought leadership development and establish yourself as a recognized expert for services.

• Assist in shaping and implementing Turner & Townsend’s strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, contracts, or supply chain management for large capital projects within manufacturing/technology, life sciences, real estate, public works, or infrastructure.

• Capability to work independently from requirements or specifications.

• Experience in delivering services in sectors such as infrastructure, oil & gas, Net Zero, pharmaceuticals, government, manufacturing, or real estate.

• Familiarity with creating contractual frameworks and templates across various portfolios.

• Client management experience, including presentations and reports to all organizational levels and C-Suite executives.

• In-depth knowledge of procurement, contracts, or supply chain management methodologies and regional variations.

• Experience leveraging these domains for business change management in large-scale capital works projects.

• Understanding and experience with construction and professional services contracts and/or supply chain agreements.

• Experience in developing RFQ/RFP documents and related procurement processes, including proposal evaluation and recommendations.

• University degree, preferably in Engineering, Law, Construction Management, or Supply Chain Management.

• Professional accreditation such as CIPS, ASCM, or PMP is preferred.

• Self-assured, independent, and capable of working autonomously without supervision.
