Senior Consultant – Procurement, Contracts and Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Execute transformational, strategic, and delivery roles in significant programs.

• Facilitate category management, program contract development, supply chain optimization, supplier relationship management, supplier performance oversight, procurement centers of excellence, innovation and industrial strategy, collaborative business relationship strategies, and compliance management.

• Implement market intelligence, delivery models, procurement and contract strategies, supply chain integration strategies, business cases, commercial strategies, and contract performance strategies.

• Lead market engagement, procurement documentation, RFP and proposal management and evaluation, commercial contract drafting, contract and commercial alignment, contract performance oversight, and commercial peer reviews.

• Contribute to the enhancement of Turner & Townsend’s capabilities catalog, including technology solutions for clients and the industry.

• Support team management and provide assistance to team members.

• Aid in business development and acquisition initiatives.

• Contribute to People initiatives.

• Manage specific corporate programs to deliver measurable results.

• Engage in external thought leadership initiatives and establish yourself as a key resource for services.

• Assist in formulating and executing Turner & Townsend’s strategy and enhancing project delivery methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, contracts, or supply chain management for large capital projects.

• Background in manufacturing/technology, life sciences, real estate, public works, or infrastructure.

• Capability to work independently and without supervision.

• Experience in delivering services across sectors such as infrastructure, oil & gas, Net Zero, pharmaceuticals, government, manufacturing, or real estate.

• Proficient in creating contractual frameworks and templates across various portfolios.

• Client management experience is essential.

• Ability to create and present clear, concise presentations and reports for all levels, including C-Suite executives.

• In-depth knowledge of procurement, contracts, or supply chain management techniques and regional variations.

• Experience applying these domains to business change management in large-scale capital projects.

• Familiarity with construction and professional services contracts and/or supply chain agreements.

• Experience in developing RFQ/RFP documents and related procurement processes, including proposal evaluation and recommendations.

• A university degree, ideally in Engineering, Law, Construction Management, or Supply Chain Management.

• Professional accreditation in a related field, such as CIPS, ASCM, or PMP, is preferred.
