Senior Consultant – Procurement, Contracts, Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute transformational initiatives that encompass category management, development of program contracts, supply chain rationalization, management of supplier relationships and performance, establishment of procurement centers of excellence, innovation and industrial strategy, business collaboration strategies, and compliance management.

• Carry out strategic initiatives such as market intelligence analysis, delivery models, procurement and contract strategies, supply chain integration strategy, business case and commercial strategies, as well as contract performance strategy.

• Deliver significant programs and projects through market engagement, procurement and contract documentation, management and evaluation of RFPs and proposals, drafting of commercial contracts, alignment of contracts and commercial terms, management of contract performance, and conducting commercial peer reviews.

• Contribute to the development of the capabilities catalog, with a focus on technology applications for clients and the industry.

• Provide support for team management and assist the team as needed.

• Aid in business development and acquisition activities.

• Contribute to initiatives related to personnel development.

• Take ownership of specific corporate programs and deliver measurable outcomes.

• Participate in the development of external thought leadership and establish oneself as a recognized subject-matter expert.

• Assist in the development and execution of Turner & Townsend strategy while continuously enhancing project delivery techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, contracts, or supply chain management for large capital projects in sectors such as manufacturing/technology, life sciences, real estate, public works, or infrastructure.

• Ability to work independently, utilizing requirements or specifications as a guide.

• Experience in delivering services across infrastructure, oil & gas, Net Zero, pharmaceutical, government, manufacturing, or real estate sectors.

• Proven track record in delivering contractual frameworks and templates across various portfolios.

• Experience in client management.

• Ability to craft and present clear, concise, and confident presentations and reports to all levels within client organizations, including C-Suite executives.

• Comprehensive working knowledge of procurement, contract management, or supply chain techniques and an understanding of regional variations.

• Experience applying these areas to business change management in large-scale capital works projects.

• Familiarity with construction and professional services contracts and/or supply chain agreements.

• Knowledge and experience in developing RFQ/RFP documents and managing related procurement processes, including proposal evaluations and client recommendations.

• Capability to operate autonomously without supervision.

• A university degree, preferably in Engineering, Law, Construction Management, or Supply Chain Management.

• Professional accreditation in a relevant field such as CIPS, ASCM, or PMP is desirable.
