Senior Consultant, Ping Identity Advanced Identity Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, configuration, and deployment of PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud solutions.

• Facilitate discovery and requirements gathering sessions.

• Create solution architecture and design documentation.

• Manage delivery through implementation, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases.

• Design and deploy SSO, MFA, federation, and passwordless authentication for web, mobile, and native applications.

• Develop and oversee identity lifecycle processes for new joiners, movers, and leavers.

• Integrate AIC with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, SCIM, and custom connectors.

• Extend platform functionalities and scripting capabilities using JavaScript/Groovy and scripted decision nodes.

• Provide counsel to clients on IAM architecture best practices, RBAC/ABAC, Zero Trust, and managed SaaS responsibilities.

• Diagnose provisioning and authentication challenges, leading root-cause analysis and resolution efforts.

• Generate architecture diagrams, runbooks, and configuration standards.

• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions with client teams.

• Mentor and offer technical guidance to junior and mid-level consultants.

• Contribute to the internal AIC delivery methodology, accelerators, and reusable assets.

• Monitor post-deployment performance, suggesting tuning, scaling, or roadmap enhancements.

• Assist in presales activities, including scoping, effort estimation, and providing technical input for proposals and statements of work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on IAM consulting or engineering experience.

• At least 3 years of direct experience with AIC in production enterprise settings.

• Proven experience leading full-lifecycle AIC projects from architecture and design to deployment and hypercare.

• Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, WS-Fed, Kerberos, and FIDO2/WebAuthn.

• Familiarity with SSO, MFA, federation, RBAC/ABAC, Zero Trust, and lifecycle access management.

• Proficient in working with REST/SOAP APIs.

• Competent in JavaScript and/or Groovy.

• Experience with multiple AIC tenant environments, ESVs, promotion pipelines, and Frodo.

• Proficient in Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent communication skills for client interactions.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing consulting role.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• U.S. citizenship may be necessary for certain client engagements.

• Previous experience in professional services, systems integration, or IAM consultancy is preferred.

• Experience with identity data consolidation/virtualization and directory migration is preferred.

• CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certifications are preferred.

• Certified Professional – PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (AIC) certification is preferred.
