Senior Consultant, Data Science & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop, train, and implement production-quality predictive and prescriptive machine learning models.

• Design, optimize, and assess enterprise Generative AI systems, encompassing RAG pipelines, custom LLM applications, and prompt engineering frameworks.

• Create and deploy autonomous AI agents along with multi-agent workflows.

• Construct advanced analytical models to evaluate campaign effectiveness, forecast customer behavior, and enhance ROI.

• Produce executive-level presentations and dashboards that convey algorithmic results, metrics, business value, and ROI.

• Examine raw client data and develop optimized analytical datasets within cloud environments.

• Facilitate client workshops to define business goals, map data landscapes, and convert business challenges into data science methodologies.

• Generate solution and design documentation for client data science architectures and ML pipelines.

• Operate both independently and collaboratively across large teams on various client engagements.

• Provide cross-training for junior Data Scientists/Analysts while offering technical leadership and conducting code reviews.

• Enhance skills through practical experience and structured learning to remain updated with AI/ML trends.

• Support pre-sales activities by assessing client opportunities and estimating workload and effort.

⛳️ Requirements

• Post-Secondary Degree (or Diploma) in a field related to Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or IT.

• 5–8 years of overall experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Management Consulting.

• 3+ years of experience in a consulting or professional services role that is client-facing.

• 3+ years of experience in application, model design, and deployment within a cloud environment, preferably GCP.

• 1–2+ years of practical experience in architecting and deploying Generative AI systems and Agentic AI workflows.

• Proven track record of delivering traditional predictive models and contemporary AI solutions to enterprise stakeholders.

• Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer, Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or similar Generative AI/Cloud Certifications are highly preferred.

• Proficiency in the Python Stack: pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Transformers.

• Familiarity with Generative & Agentic AI Frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen/CrewAI, Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures, Multi-Agent Orchestration, Function Calling & Tool Integration.

• Experience with Vector Databases & Search: BigQuery Vector Search, Google Cloud Vector Search, Pinecone, Chroma, or FAISS.

• Expertise in advanced SQL query optimization for large-scale data warehouses.

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform technologies, including Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI Agent Builder, BigQuery ML, and Model Garden.

• Skills in data engineering and orchestration using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.

• Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Looker/Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Understanding of MarTech/AdTech ecosystems.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience in CI/CD and MLOps/LLMOps.

• Strong interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, commercial insight, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to convey complex technical and mathematical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
