Senior Construction Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist the Project Executive or Operations Director in crafting project proposals, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.

• Lead and organize project teams to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with client standards.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing project updates and addressing any issues that arise.

• Source, negotiate, and oversee contractors, subcontractors, and third-party service providers.

• Supervise estimating, bidding, permitting, and contract management processes.

• Handle project modifications, documentation, and reporting in line with Sevan’s standards and best practices.

• Implement Sevan technology solutions to improve project delivery efficiency.

• Conduct project kick-offs and reviews of lessons learned.

• Represent Sevan during client and project meetings.

• Cultivate relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.

• Anticipate potential challenges and devise solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.

• Lead nationwide grocery store renovation and construction programs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline, or 10–15 years of pertinent experience.

• 7–10+ years of construction management experience in the retail or grocery industries.

• Knowledge of facility projects related to refrigeration, electrical systems, HVAC, or vertical mobility.

• Expertise in refrigeration, electrical, and HVAC is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in construction project management.

• Comprehensive understanding of all phases from preconstruction to project closeout.

• Outstanding communication abilities with clients, contractors, and project teams at all levels.

• Proficient in Procore and Smartsheets.

• PMP certification is a plus.

• Capable of working remotely in a home-office environment while effectively managing time across multiple projects and deadlines.

• Willingness to work multi-shift schedules when necessary.

• Ability to travel to project sites as required, including potential weekly visits.

• Capacity to occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds.
