β€’ Act as a technical thought leader in collaboration with engineering management.

β€’ Connect advanced research and development with production engineering to tackle challenging computer vision issues within intricate retail settings.

β€’ Dedicate roughly 50% of your time to hypothesis-driven research and evidence-based evaluation.

β€’ Allocate approximately 50% of your time to implementation, model optimization, and edge deployment.

β€’ Design, implement, and enhance cutting-edge deep learning, computer vision, and visual-language models for practical retail edge applications.

β€’ Link exploratory research efforts with production code.

β€’ Conduct data-driven analysis to assess algorithm performance against real-world engineering challenges.

β€’ Optimize neural network inference for high-throughput, low-latency execution utilizing TensorRT and custom CUDA primitives.

β€’ Containerize and deploy robust machine learning pipelines using Docker in both cloud and edge/embedded settings.

β€’ Leverage AI-assisted workflows like Copilot and code-assisted tools to enhance engineering efficiency and team output.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Over 8 years of significant industry experience in delivering production-quality computer vision systems.

β€’ Strong academic or research background at the Master’s or Ph.D. level in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

β€’ Proven track record of translating complex R&D or fundamental research into evidence-based, production-quality pipelines.

β€’ Extensive expertise in PyTorch, custom deep learning/graphics architectures, and Vision-Language Models (VLMs).

β€’ Practical experience with TensorRT, CUDA optimization, and low-level GPU acceleration.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of Docker for creating reproducible machine learning environments.

β€’ Mastery of production-grade Python.

β€’ Strong capability in C++ for high-performance components.

β€’ Experience with dense image registration and warping algorithms.

β€’ Demonstrated structured analytical approach to innovation in computer vision.

β€’ Legally authorized to work in the United States.

β€’ Must indicate if visa sponsorship is required currently or in the future.
