Senior Compliance Program Manager – Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Perform Responsible AI impact assessment reviews along with associated compliance activities.

• Assess AI use cases and systems in relation to governance requirements and controls.

• Assist HR stakeholders in navigating compliance processes and necessary evaluations.

• Record review outcomes, recommendations, and decisions thoroughly.

• Detect compliance challenges, process deficiencies, and opportunities for scalability enhancements.

• Convert governance requirements into actionable operational processes, tools, documentation, and program functionalities.

• Design and execute operational procedures, reviewer guidance, and resources for knowledge management.

• Spearhead enhancements to assessment workflows, intake processes, case management, and other program functionalities.

• Create requirements, user stories, process documentation, and plans for implementation.

• Aid in automation, AI-assisted workflows, and overall process efficiencies.

• Apply new compliance requirements throughout workflows, tools, reporting, and operational practices.

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations.

• Examine operational and compliance data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Enhance reporting strategies and ensure data quality and measurement capabilities are maintained.

• Collaborate with Responsible AI, compliance, and technology delivery teams.

• Prepare communications, training materials, guidance documentation, and implementation resources.

• Cultivate stakeholder relationships and lead initiatives from concept through to implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in compliance, privacy, security, or AI risk governance.

• Proven experience in reviewing AI assessments, applications, or technology deployments to evaluate compliance with internal or external policies.

• Strong background in program execution and operational delivery, encompassing process design, improvement, and implementation of complex initiatives.

• Experience in developing operational documentation, procedures, playbooks, requirements, user stories, and relevant program artifacts.

• Proficient in creating reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret operational and compliance data and convert insights into actionable recommendations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation and materials for stakeholders.

• Demonstrated capacity to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and maintain progress in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

• Experience working with or within global technology companies in a similar compliance, privacy, or AI governance role, whether as a technologist, engineer, attorney, or compliance specialist.

• Knowledge of Responsible AI frameworks, including the EU AI Act and U.S. NIST AI RMF, data protection practices such as GDPR and CCPA, or regulatory expectations concerning AI.

• Familiarity with HR systems or processes, especially as they pertain to AI governance, data ethics, or employee trust.

• Experience in implementing process automation, optimizing workflows, or establishing AI-enabled operational capabilities.

• Background in creating or refining Power BI data models, measures, or reporting frameworks.

• Experience in large-scale compliance transformation or governance modernization projects.

• Consulting experience with the ability to reconcile strategic thinking with meticulous execution.

• Must possess authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship and extensions are not available.
