Senior Compensation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, analyze, and assist in managing compensation programs that align with Home Depot's objectives and requirements.

• Assess and suggest modifications to the company's compensation initiatives.

• Provide support for store, SSC, executive compensation, incentive plans, equity programs, and compensation initiatives across diverse business units.

• Offer consultation to HR clients and business partners regarding compensation-related decisions and challenges.

• Deliver daily compensation support, including generating periodic compensation statements and approval documents.

• Assist with reporting to the Board of Directors on compensation initiatives and the annual compensation strategy.

• Prepare ad-hoc analyses of compensation data.

• Analyze, design, and propose incentive plans and special payment structures.

• Conduct comprehensive market pay analyses using various sources and contacts.

• Oversee compensation survey processes, including the selection of benchmark surveys, participation in industry meetings, data analysis, and submissions.

• Manage the lifecycle of positions and job titles, encompassing pay ranges, internal equity, job codes, and the approval and posting of job descriptions.

• Collaborate with HR partners on processes, systems support, and issue resolution.

• Create communication packets and administrative documents.

• Provide training on platforms to HR partners.

• Develop and manage the distribution of reports.

• Travel overnight less than 10% of the time.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Compensation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in HR, finance, accounting, or other relevant analytical fields.

• Capacity to identify trends and address the root causes of issues, including systems and policy challenges.

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in a field related to the position.

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Effective planning skills.

• Research proficiency.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Project management capabilities.

• Professional certification in HR, finance, or accounting (either obtained or in progress).
