Senior Compensation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the daily technical execution of Boldr's global compensation programs and act as a backup contact for the Senior Manager of Total Rewards.

• Oversee the maintenance of compensation structures while performing job evaluations and conducting market benchmarking.

• Develop the global compensation strategy and uphold strategic initiatives.

• Manage job leveling frameworks and salary structures; drive market benchmarking utilizing tools such as Mercer and Radford.

• Deliver compensation data for financial planning, pay equity audits, and total rewards forecasting.

• Create leveling guides, career ladders, and standards for job descriptions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and level new and evolving roles.

• Execute job evaluations, salary benchmarking, job scoping, and compensation analysis.

• Co-manage the annual compensation review cycle and oversee comprehensive compensation projects.

• Design and sustain dashboards, data models, reports, and analytics; establish data integrity standards across HRIS and compensation systems.

• Initiate and implement AI-enabled workflows, providing guidance to People Business Partners and Talent Acquisition on intricate pay decisions and global offer strategies.

• Monitor regulatory requirements, conduct audits, and enhance compensation policies and documentation.

• Compile compensation findings, trends, and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.

• Mentor members of the Total Rewards team on compensation methodologies and best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in compensation analysis or total rewards, particularly in a global or multi-country setting.

• Extensive, hands-on expertise in job evaluation, market benchmarking, job description development, compensation analysis, and constructing salary bands.

• Proven project management abilities, with a history of leading compensation projects from the scoping phase through to delivery.

• Familiarity with managing compensation systems such as PayScale and Payfactors, as well as survey platforms like Mercer and Radford.

• In-depth understanding of global compensation frameworks, pay equity, and compliance standards.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing abilities, with the confidence to advise leaders on complex pay-related decisions.

• Experience or a strong interest in leveraging AI tools within compensation workflows.

• Adept working proficiency with HRIS software and CRM systems.

• Previous compensation experience in a BPO or staffing context is advantageous.

• CCP or GRP certifications are highly preferred.
