Senior Coating Advisor – Mexico, USA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance to sales teams, customers, and stakeholders.

• Conduct physical inspections and evaluate conditions.

• Supervise product application activities as required.

• Perform technical assessments of product specifications.

• Facilitate technical training sessions and presentations.

• Prepare and deliver technical briefings for both customer and company representatives.

• Generate inspection reports utilizing digital reporting software.

• Assess sales proposals for technical accuracy and alignment with quality and performance standards.

• Travel to job sites when assigned or dispatched for projects.

• Collaborate with applicators, distributors, contractors, engineers, and consultants to ensure the correct use and application of Hempel products.

• Offer technical advisory support regarding Hempel products and communicate their features and benefits.

• Ensure adherence to Product Data Sheets, guide specifications, technical and industrial standards, procedures, and best practices in painting/application.

• Gather and document data; prepare progress reports, including testing, analysis, and interpretation.

• Provide onsite training for coatings applicators and Hempel Sales teams.

• Educate and influence customers about coating solutions and Technical Services.

• Create and distribute precise company and customer reports using corporate reporting tools.

• Utilize PPE and technical equipment responsibly; ensure that equipment is calibrated, maintained, and in optimal condition.

• Monitor and manage project paint inventory and update Sales teams to prevent shortages.

• Engage in internal and external Technical Services strategy activities, surveys, and troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or Bachelor's degree.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the Coating Industry.

• Proficiency in English, both oral and written, for business communication.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office.

• General computer literacy.

• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%, both domestic and international) and maintain flexible schedules.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

• Experience in marine coatings is a plus.

• NACE certification is a plus.
