Senior Cloudsuite Finance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee finance workstreams throughout discovery, process design, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.

• Offer functional expertise for client support inquiries, including issue investigation, question resolution, root cause identification, solution recommendations, and coordination with technical or cross-functional teams.

• Conduct workshops with finance executives, process owners, and subject-matter experts.

• Comprehend existing processes, outline future-state requirements, and direct design decisions.

• Configure and provide guidance on M3 finance functionalities, such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management, financial reporting, and cost accounting.

• Convert business requirements into solution designs that align with M3 standard functionalities, client objectives, internal controls, and implementation methodologies.

• Identify discrepancies, assess alternatives, recommend solutions, and communicate impacts, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.

• Assist with financial master data, data conversion, integrations, reporting, security, and reconciliation tasks.

• Deliver training and support to end users.

• Contribute to post-go-live activities and prepare operations teams for ongoing support.

• Foster and enhance client relationships through exceptional service delivery.

• Collaborate with colleagues in implementing D365 for Finance & Operations solutions from the scoping phase through analysis, design, and implementation.

• Share expertise, reusable strategies, and lessons learned with the wider consulting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of consulting experience with Infor M3, including multiple implementation, upgrade, or optimization projects involving M3 finance.

• At least 5 years as a finance consultant directly engaged with financial processes and controls, including record to report, procure to pay, order to cash, financial close, and management reporting.

• Completion of at least 3 full life cycle finance implementations on Infor M3.

• Financial background with proven experience and knowledge in finance and accounting.

• Experience in data migration, intercompany transactions, and multi-legal entity management.

• Previous experience interacting with external clients at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

• BA/BS degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Accounting is preferred.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines effectively.

• Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% to provide client services.

• Preferred: Familiarity with M3 CloudSuite and related Infor technologies, such as Infor OS, ION, IDM, security, workflows, and reporting or analytics tools.

• Preferred: Experience with multi-company, multi-site, multi-currency, or global ERP implementations.

• Preferred: Background in manufacturing, food and beverage, distribution, equipment, or other sectors that frequently utilize M3.

• Preferred: Accounting certification, M3 certification, or equivalent professional credentials.
