This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Integrate clinical initiatives aimed at enhancing health outcomes with an emphasis on prescription medications.
• Supervise medication therapy, conduct thorough medication reviews, and optimize prescriptions for patients on multiple medications.
• Promote health literacy through prescription education and targeted quarterly outreach campaigns.
• Initiate outbound calls to verify patient medication adherence and offer counseling support.
• Shape departmental strategy.
• Make decisions regarding technical methods for project components.
• Set objectives and strategies for assignments with significant autonomy.
• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings, as necessary.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree.
• Active pharmacist license in the states where you are required to practice.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to adhere to schedules.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team to meet targets and deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively at all organizational levels.
• Initiative to manage multiple or competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to an organization dedicated to continuously enhancing consumer experiences.
• Previous experience in pharmacy benefits management.
• Familiarity with Commercial, Medicare, and/or Medicaid systems.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in managed care.
• Capability to manage end-to-end processes.
• Understanding of Humana's business processes, systems, tools, regulations, and organizational structure.
• Previous management experience with the ability to lead teams effectively.
• Experience in program or project management.
• Proven track record of successfully leading teams with multiple responsibilities.
• Strong data analysis skills and experience with Access, SQL, and Excel.
• Lean, 6 Sigma experience and/or certification.
• Ability to provide high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office.
• Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
