Senior Clinical Pharmacist – Medicaid Pharmacy Trend Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement and monitor clinical program strategies across Medicaid business lines

• Work collaboratively with Medicaid Customer Success, Trend Detection, Trend Management, Pharmacy Analytics and Consulting, Marketing, and Humana Clinical Pharmacy Review

• Manage clinical program targeted drug lists alongside the Clinical Formulary and Medical Strategies team

• Monitor, evaluate, and report on program-specific key performance indicators

• Foster and maintain relationships with external vendors and internal operational teams

• Engage in clinical program innovation, including the creation of new initiatives and testing improvements to current programs

• Collaborate across functions to promote program excellence, innovation, and ongoing enhancement

⛳️ Requirements

• PharmD degree from an accredited institution

• Current pharmacist license from the Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for tracking, analyzing, and deriving insights from data

• Capability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with personnel at various levels of management

• Designated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information

• Home internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps

• Managed Care Residency Training or three years of experience as a managed care pharmacist (preferred)

• Board Certification (preferred)

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)

• Experience in operations (preferred)
