This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Serve as a primary leader on therapy-related activities, including imaging, integration, and troubleshooting techniques associated with equipment, software, tools, and products needed for clinical applications.
• Deliver intraoperative case coverage and facilitate individualized ad hoc training along with structured in-service educational programs in the Cath Lab.
• Instruct and educate physicians, hospital personnel, and staff on technical aspects concerning investigational products and procedures, particularly in imaging.
• Offer on-site, real-time support during clinical implants and develop contingency plans for unexpected situations that may arise during intricate clinical trial cases.
• Identify components of the strategic plan and provide recommendations to sales representatives and managers within the designated territory.
• Record procedural case observations to support learning and training enhancements.
• Work collaboratively with product development teams to offer feedback and suggest improvements for device iterations and the creation of new devices.
• Select and train specific hospital staff to serve as designated experts on EW products.
• Carry out other incidental tasks as required.
• An associate’s degree or equivalent in an Associate's or technical certification (e.g., echocardiography, nursing).
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant medical device and/or clinical experience.
• Experience as a clinical specialist in imaging/echocardiography with TEE or CT experience or expertise in structural heart devices.
• Certification in RDCS from ARDMS or an equivalent certification (e.g., Nursing (RN/BSN/MSN), Physician Assistant (PA-C), CV Sonography (RDCS/RDS), Cardiovascular Technician (RCIS/CVT/RTR/RCES/CST)) is preferred.
• Proficient in imaging analysis software (e.g., 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI).
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
• Capability to guide and instruct imaging specialists on the operation of imaging equipment.
• Strong skills in diplomacy, influencing, and relationship management.
• Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledgeable in cardiovascular science and valvular heart disease.
• Understanding of the cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to medical products.
• Familiarity with principles, theories, and concepts of cardiovascular imaging.
• Awareness of Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Successful completion of the Field Training Program and certification in case management and 3 Mensio management.
• Ability to engage with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters requiring organizational coordination.
