Senior Clinical Data Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary data manager for one or more clinical projects.

• Act as a liaison to the Project Lead and/or client.

• Implement project protocol elements in daily activities and guide others in their execution.

• Function as the interdepartmental and client contact for all data management study operations.

• Generate project-specific status updates for management, the Project Lead, and/or clients.

• Track and evaluate study metrics, escalating issues in line with risk management protocols.

• Support bid preparation and represent data management during bid defense meetings as needed.

• Assist in project forecasting for hours and identifying resource needs.

• Help oversee project budgets, out-of-scope tasks, and the Contract Modification processes.

• Lead complex, high-volume studies.

• Independently manage and assign tasks to ensure timely completion within quality standards and budget.

• Mentor junior staff on study-related tasks.

• Provide administrative and financial oversight for assigned projects.

• Communicate with management regarding data management initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• Over 5 years of prior experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to excel in the role.

• Equivalent qualifications through a combination of relevant education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered.

• Capability to apply knowledge and skills while adhering to regulatory standards, SOPs, and client expectations.

• Proficient in using interactive computer applications.

• Strong command of the English language and grammar.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Well-developed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently both in a team setting and independently.

• Capacity to maintain confidentiality concerning clinical and client proprietary information.

• Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead and train study teams.

• Capability to serve as a subject matter expert for data management processes within the study or department.

• Ability to assist in project resource allocation and timeline planning and compliance.

• Willingness and ability to work in an office setting.

• Occasional travel, both domestic and international.
