This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for new clients of Empower Personal Wealth during the onboarding and asset transfer process.
β’ Oversee cash and asset movement tasks, including ACATS, wire transfers, and ACH transfers.
β’ Coordinate third-party communications with external financial institutions, offer rollover guidance, and assist with necessary documentation.
β’ Conduct follow-ups via phone, email, and text regarding pending account-opening and asset-transfer requirements.
β’ Fulfill service requests within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
β’ Clarify money movement, account opening, rollover, and transfer procedures to clients.
β’ Escalate urgent or intricate issues to management and sales partners.
β’ Collaborate with broker-dealer custodians and portfolio management service providers.
β’ Revise procedures to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and completeness.
β’ Review outstanding tasks daily.
β’ Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting, departmental initiatives, and operational projects.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert on investment lines of credit, trusts, and individual 401(k) plans.
β’ Provide mentorship to new hires and less experienced team members.
β’ Engage in and help facilitate department meetings and training sessions.
β’ Investigate complex onboarding scenarios and refine organizational processes and procedures.
β’ A high school diploma or GED is required.
β’ A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience is preferred.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in financial services operations or customer service, specifically in a client onboarding role.
β’ Experience in supporting client service activities related to investment advisory, including ACATS, IRA distributions, required minimum distributions (RMDs), and account maintenance.
β’ Familiarity with investment products and services.
β’ Proven experience managing complex operational workflows with excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
β’ Understanding of regulatory policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
β’ Experience with web-based or remote investment service delivery.
β’ Proficiency in working with broker-dealer custodians, portfolio management platforms, CRM systems, or financial services workflow technology.
β’ Excellent verbal, written, and active-listening communication skills.
β’ Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration capabilities.
β’ Ability to perform effectively at both tactical and strategic levels.
β’ Proven ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate suggestions to leadership.
β’ Capability to provide client service in a paperless, branchless, cloud-based operating environment.
β’ Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT, is not available.
