This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough and timely investigations, assessments, and evaluations related to coverage, liability, damage, and complex casualty and environmental claims.

• Make determinations regarding coverage and prepare written communications to insured parties and other necessary stakeholders.

• Investigate, assess, document, manage, report, and implement strategies for the prompt and cost-effective resolution of assigned claims.

• Establish and oversee reserves.

• Actively manage litigation processes and provide counsel, including planning and executing litigation strategies, budgeting, and reviewing and processing bills.

• Represent the organization in meetings with management and insurance carriers, as well as during mediation and trial proceedings.

• Operate within a paperless, fully remote work environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA/BS College Degree is mandatory.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in handling liability and/or cleanup claims, or in a legal capacity.

• Experience with complex auto liability cases is advantageous.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong experience in coverage analysis and drafting.

• Capability to review, analyze, and evaluate technical, legal, and medical information effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster and maintain productive relationships with internal and external clients, including insureds, underwriters, legal counsel, and carriers.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• High degree of initiative.

• Outstanding time management, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
