This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Create and uphold Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) in alignment with global chemical user safety standards.
• Collaborate across various functions with product developers, chemists, and site teams to ensure chemical compliance throughout Beckman Coulter locations.
• Analyze and implement changing international chemical regulations on products, processes, and documentation.
• Formulate and assist in chemical compliance strategies, which include risk identification, mitigation planning, and regulatory preparedness.
• Offer guidance and specialized knowledge to internal teams regarding safe handling, labeling, and disposal requirements.
• Assist with audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal compliance efforts as needed.
• Report to the Director of Global Compliance and Regulatory Affairs.
• Contribute to the global chemical compliance strategy and regulatory alignment of the Global Chemical Compliance team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Toxicology, or a similar field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in chemical compliance, regulatory affairs, or a closely related area.
• Proven understanding of global chemical safety regulations that govern the development and management of SDSs.
• Experience collaborating with technical and scientific stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Familiarity with UL WERCS is advantageous.
• Experience with Oracle Business Systems is a plus.
• Previous involvement in supporting in-vitro diagnostic devices or other highly regulated sectors is a plus.
