This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.
• Enhance commercial and operational success by partnering with operational departments to ensure the development of appropriate budgets for clinical change orders.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Finance, Contract Development, Global Project Managers, and Regional Project Managers to create accurate and fitting budgets.
• Oversee the lifecycle of budget development for Change Order budgets throughout the study.
• Engage relevant contributors, establish budget development timelines, coordinate and compile input, and ensure adherence to final budget deadlines.
• Identify, evaluate, resolve, and/or escalate issues as necessary.
• Calculate resource and service fees utilizing algorithms and electronic spreadsheets.
• Support departmental evaluations, analyze final expenditures, and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Communicate with or present Change Order budgets to clients upon request.
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, ideally in Sciences or Business Administration/Marketing, from an accredited institution.
• At least five years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of three years focused on the budget development process.
• Familiarity with CRO services as well as clinical trial processes and procedures.
• Strong mathematical abilities, including the calculation of discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Capability to apply basic accounting and finance principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
