This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as a strategic and operational partner to the Head of Product Certification, converting priorities into defined ownership, milestones, and measurable results.
• Create and oversee operational rhythms, which include leadership meetings, milestone assessments, and action tracking.
• Keep track of organizational priorities, risks, and decisions, ensuring they are escalated at the appropriate time.
• Supervise a small team of around two direct reports who are responsible for the administration of the certification program.
• Own program metrics and dashboards that represent real-time certification status, progress on certification basis, compliance status, and project milestones.
• Manage official communication logs between Archer and the FAA, as well as relevant foreign certification authorities.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records of certification projects and provide regular updates on program progress.
• Identify and eliminate barriers related to processes, resources, and communication, taking responsibility for cross-functional issues without a designated owner.
• Foster alignment between Product Certification and various teams including Engineering, Flight Test, Safety, and Program Management.
• Prepare executive-level presentations for the Head of Product Certification and ensure that key meeting commitments are tracked to completion.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in leadership, operations, or program management within complex, dynamic organizations.
• Proven success as a Chief of Staff, senior operations leader, or program/organizational leader, effectively driving execution across multiple teams.
• Experience in team management and the development of direct reports.
• Background in building performance management systems, dashboards, and operational rhythms that facilitate measurable execution.
• Strong history of resolving cross-functional barriers and influencing others without direct authority.
• Exceptional capability to organize complex tasks, synthesize information, and make sound judgments in ambiguous situations.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and executive presentation abilities.
• Availability to travel between Archer locations as required.
