Senior Centralized Funding Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the operational mechanics of commercial loan documentation for compatibility with the loan system.

• Partner with relationship managers, closers, and personnel from various business lines to collect information and address documentation, closing, boarding, and funding challenges.

• Supervise the funding of new and modified loan transactions, ensuring prompt disbursement and compliance with approval conditions.

• Keep comprehensive records and documentation within loan systems and databases.

• Provide guidance to team members as a subject matter expert on loan documentation, boarding, and funding processes.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of documentation procedures and best practices.

• Participate in cross-functional project teams.

• Manage and authorize outgoing wire transfers and Online Transaction Entries (OTEs).

• Engage in pipeline, pre-closing, and closing discussions.

• Recognize and escalate deal attributes that are unsupported by the servicing system or that necessitate workarounds or manual intervention.

• Aid in the onboarding, funding, and quality review of new or amended facilities prepared by attorneys.

• Prepare and distribute advance notice, clear-to-close funding, and fee notifications to involved banks.

• Utilize DMAIC methodology to enhance processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

• At least five (5) years of experience in loan administration or operations, specifically in commercial loans.

• A Bachelor's degree is advantageous.

• Lean Six Sigma – Yellow Belt Certification is a plus.

• Proficient in syndicated and participation loan transactions.

• Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in multitasking.

• Capable of quickly adapting to changing situations and implementing effective solutions.

• Experience in overseeing and authorizing outgoing wire transfers and Online Transaction Entries (OTEs).

• Familiarity with commercial loan documentation, boarding, funding, quality review, and facilities prepared by attorneys.
