Senior Caseworker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assess the appropriate level of quality assurance oversight for different IT systems and applications.

• Collaborate with IT teams or external vendors to document requirements and create, maintain, and execute intricate test plans, scenarios, and scripts.

• Evaluate unit testing documentation for validated systems prior to quality assurance and user acceptance testing.

• Develop test plans and compile test summary reports.

• Design test scenarios and configuration data for functional, integration, challenge, and regression testing.

• Conduct testing in an environment that closely resembles the live setting before formal testing begins.

• Implement test scenarios in line with approved plans.

• Record defects and organize triage meetings with stakeholders.

• Inform the Change Management team once approval is received to schedule the RFC for deploying tested code to production.

• Offer support for security testing, environment setup, batch schedule validation, performance testing, and automated testing.

• Engage in the creation and updating of process and application documentation.

• Facilitate user acceptance testing and assist in third-party oversight or updates to test plans for designated products.

• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and security protocols.

• Carry out other related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant, progressively responsible experience in software testing or quality assurance.

• A bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a healthcare-related discipline.

• Experience in testing healthcare, pharmacy, and ERP applications; pharmacovigilance experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with integration testing or API testing.

• Experience using automated test management tools.

• Practical experience working with validated systems in a regulated sector.

• Knowledge of GxP systems validation is an advantage.

• Experience in auditing IT and validated systems is a plus.

• Familiarity with creating and reviewing standard operating procedures (SOPs) is advantageous.

• Proficiency in utilizing automated enterprise testing tools.

• Experience with HP Quality Center, Jira, or Zephyr is beneficial.

• Working knowledge of relevant technologies, tools, and software; familiarity with CDS, office productivity services, HP testing tools, or comparable testing tools.

• Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual capabilities.
