Senior Case Manager – Personal Injury

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing plaintiff personal injury cases from initial intake to resolution under the guidance of an attorney.

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of the bodily injury claims process.

• Oversee an average caseload ranging from 80 to 120 personal injury cases.

• Achieve or surpass settlement and treatment objectives while adhering to case lifecycle timelines.

• Handle communications with insurance companies, coordinate medical treatments, and manage claim activities.

• Collaborate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and attorneys.

• Ensure accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date case documentation and activity records within Litify.

• Aid in case-related tasks and legal support functions.

• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish as necessary.

• Track claim status and proactively address any outstanding issues.

• Ensure adherence to firm protocols, documentation standards, and best practices in case management.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience in managing plaintiff personal injury cases.

• Proficient in handling personal injury claims, including no-fault, bodily injury (BI), and uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/SUM) claims.

• Experience in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and case management abilities.

• Capability to work independently and manage a complete caseload remotely.

• Previous experience with Litify or Salesforce is preferred.

• Contractors must provide their own equipment and workspace.

• Computer specifications: Windows 11 with Intel i5 8th generation or newer or equivalent, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD; or macOS 14 Sonoma or newer with Apple Silicon or Intel i5, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD.

• A dedicated, non-shared device is required.

• Internet connection must have a minimum of 30 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload speed, with latency under 100 ms.

• A private password-protected network is essential; public Wi-Fi is not acceptable.

• A USB noise-canceling headset with a microphone is necessary.

• A webcam capable of clear video is required.

• Full-disk encryption must be enabled via BitLocker or FileVault.

• Automatic updates for the operating system and browser security must be activated.

• Screen lock should be set for no longer than 10 minutes of inactivity.

• Active endpoint protection software is mandatory.

• Applicant data must only be stored in firm-designated systems and never in personal cloud storage or local drives.
