Senior Campaign Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as an Action Officer to assist SSC and DAF Protracted War Campaign Team initiatives.

• Oversee operational, logistics, acquisition, and material inputs throughout USAF, USSF, SSC, and various DAF and DoD organizations.

• Provide support for campaign analysis that includes contested logistics, operations under degraded space conditions, space reconstitution, and additional mission areas.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine operational needs, capability gaps, dependencies, risks, and priorities.

• Evaluate operational concepts, threat intelligence, logistics factors, and future capability necessities.

• Create campaign roadmaps, action trackers, decision logs, and other planning and coordination documents.

• Recognize capability gaps, overlaps, and dependencies while aiding in the formation of priorities and investment suggestions.

• Prepare briefings for senior leaders, analytical papers, decision-making materials, and various executive communications.

• Facilitate working groups and executive meetings, documenting decisions, actions, and emerging requirements.

• Assist in rapid-turn analysis, special studies, and emerging SSC readiness and campaign planning needs.

• Conduct classified work within Government-accredited facilities and approved secure information systems as necessary.

• Coordinate with the Air Force, Space Force, and other DoD entities to evaluate operational needs, integrate stakeholder feedback, and create decision-quality products for senior leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• Over 12 years of pertinent experience supporting Department of Defense operations, logistics, sustainment, acquisition, planning, or similar mission areas.

• Experience in DoD operational, logistics, or strategic planning environments.

• Proven ability to coordinate complex activities across organizations, functional communities, program offices, or military services.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.

• Capability to synthesize complex information and produce clear recommendations.

• Proficient in creating briefings, presentations, papers, or other products for Government leadership.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with senior military, civilian, and technical stakeholders.

• Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in teams within a high-tempo setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

• Active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred as a desirable skill.

• Experience supporting USSF, Space Systems Command, Headquarters Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, a Combatant Command, or a similar headquarters organization.

• Familiarity with the Joint Planning Process (JPP) or operational campaign planning.

• Experience in supporting force design, capability development, or Program Objective Memorandum activities.

• Knowledge regarding contested logistics, protracted conflict, or related operational challenges.

• Familiarity with Air Force or Space Force logistics, sustainment, readiness, operations, or acquisition organizations.

• Experience integrating classified operational or intelligence information into planning and analysis.

• Background in supporting cross-functional working groups that involve operations, logistics, intelligence, acquisition, or technology stakeholders.

• Experience preparing materials for General Officer/Flag Officer or Senior Executive Service audiences.

• Current or recent experience utilizing classified DoD networks such as SIPRNet or JWICS and working within a SCIF environment.
