Senior C++ Engineer – Desktop Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain high-quality components for desktop applications utilizing modern C++

• Develop scalable solutions for multithreading and concurrency

• Examine, identify, and address performance bottlenecks in intricate desktop systems

• Engage in the modernization and refactoring of legacy codebases

• Work in collaboration with architects, QA engineers, and product teams to provide stable and efficient solutions

• Aid in enhancing software quality, debugging processes, and initiatives for system stability

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to streamline workflows and expedite implementation efforts

• Take part in technical discussions, code reviews, and initiatives promoting engineering best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in C++ software development

• Strong proficiency in contemporary C++ standards, including C++14/17/20

• Comprehensive knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, debugging, and performance enhancements

• Practical experience in desktop application development

• Familiarity with Qt framework

• Experience with Make, Conan, and MSVC tools

• Knowledge of CEF integration

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Capability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams

• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher
