Senior BWRX-300 SRO Operations Training Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assess learning requirements and create technical training solutions.

• Develop and design Initial Certification/License Training Programs for BWR, ABWR, and BWRX-300 technologies utilizing the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).

• Oversee the maintenance of Operations Training KSA Analyses/Catalogues, Job & Task Analyses, Task-to-Training Matrices, curricula, evaluation strategies, delivery schedules, training materials, and evaluation instruments.

• Create and implement Continuing Training Programs for both licensed and non-licensed operators.

• Ensure instructional quality in curricula and materials for training programs aimed at licensed and non-licensed operators.

• Represent GEH training in various internal, customer, and regulatory platforms.

• Assist in the management and execution of training programs while providing leadership for assigned initiatives.

• Lead or assist in training program evaluations, assess training efficacy, set priorities, and promote continuous enhancement.

• Formulate and support corrective measures for recognized areas of improvement.

• Collaborate with training and business units to bolster Fleet Services enterprises.

• Undertake special assignments and related tasks as directed by the Training Manager/Leader.

• Provide management with advice and contribute to strategic planning, policy formulation, and decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED combined with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Training.

• Specialized proficiency and/or extensive knowledge within the field.

• Familiarity with nuclear power plant technologies, specifically BWR and PWR.

• Experience in developing and implementing training programs in accordance with INPO and NRC regulatory standards.

• Background in the development, administration, and evaluation of Initial and Requalification Certification Examinations.

• Proficient in delivering all phases of Operator Training, encompassing GFES, Station Systems, and Simulator.

• Experience in the implementation of Computer Based Training (CBT) and multimedia training content.

• Proficiency in using an LMS, training database, or Vision software.

• Legally permitted to work in the United States.

• Capability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
