Senior BWRX-300 SRO Operations Training Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assess educational requirements and create technical training solutions.

• Assist in the design and development of Initial Certification/License Training Programs for BWR, ABWR, and BWRX-300 technologies utilizing the Systematic Approach to Training.

• Oversee the maintenance of Operations Training KSA analyses/catalogues, Job & Task Analysis, Task to Training Matrices, curricula, evaluation strategies, delivery schedules, training materials, and evaluation instruments.

• Play a key role in the design and development of Continuing Training Programs for both licensed and non-licensed operators.

• Ensure instructional quality oversight for training curricula and materials for licensed and non-licensed personnel.

• Represent GEH training in internal discussions, customer interactions, and regulatory engagements.

• Collaborate with other operations training instructors and personnel to support the management and delivery of training programs.

• Lead or assist in training program evaluations, assess training effectiveness, set priorities, and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

• Create and endorse corrective actions for any identified areas requiring improvement.

• Partner with training and business units to facilitate Fleet Services enterprises.

• Execute special assignments and related tasks as directed by the Training Manager/Leader.

• Provide management with advice and recommendations on complex training-related matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED accompanied by a minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Training.

• Possess specialized depth and/or breadth of knowledge within the field.

• Familiarity with nuclear power plant technologies, including BWR and PWR.

• Experience in training program development and implementation within INPO and NRC regulatory frameworks.

• Background in Initial and Requalification Certification Examination development, execution, and assessment.

• Proficient in delivering all phases of Operator Training, including GFES, Station Systems, and Simulator training.

• Knowledge of Computer Based Training (CBT) implementation and multimedia training content creation.

• Experience with LMS, training databases, or Vision software.

• Capability to acquire authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary.

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if required.
