Senior Business Technical Consultant – Treasury/Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate strategies for business and application architecture aligned with the customer’s organization, processes, business needs, and applications.

• Provide oversight on projects encompassing design, development, enhancements, maintenance, troubleshooting, monitoring, reporting, and support of business applications and systems.

• Act as a strategic advisor for systems and deliver sustainable, long-term solutions.

• Collaborate with Data, Product, Systems, and other technical teams to design integration processes.

• Maintain up-to-date architectural and technical documentation.

• Facilitate architectural review sessions and guide go/no-go architectural decisions.

• Lead the gathering and refinement of requirements for large, complex software implementations.

• Drive the development of strategy and solutions from perspectives of system architecture, processes, and team management.

• Manage and supervise vendors effectively.

• Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to team members and assist with performance reviews.

• Analyze, diagnose, and derive conclusions on complex technical issues.

• Evaluate customer requirements, assess technology and vendor products, formulate plans, propose end-to-end solutions, implement solutions, and ensure the quality of deliverables.

• Function as the product owner for integrated system solutions and reporting.

• Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving business-impacting issues with business partners, IT, and vendors.

• Suggest modifications to system/application support to resolve issues and enhance functionality.

• Analyze outcomes and provide strategic recommendations for performance improvements.

• Oversee the development of online knowledge management tools for system procedures.

• Coordinate system modifications to maintain data integrity.

• Create or update technical procedures and processes while adhering to established service and support standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 6 years of experience as a business or systems analyst.

• Proven experience managing vendors in accordance with contractual agreements with defined service levels.

• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships.

• Skilled in planning, implementing, and managing organizational process changes.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and tailor communication to the audience.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Cognos, and/or SQL.

• Capability to work with and analyze extensive data sets.

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

• Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting a range of systems or process issues, with the ability to design specific solutions.

• Availability to provide 24x7 global on-call production support when required.

• Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in job functions.

• Treasury systems/application support experience is preferred.

• Experience in bank connectivity and file transmission support is preferred.

• Understanding of cash management, banking services, financial reporting, accounting processes, internal controls, and audit documentation is preferred.

• Ability to collaborate with internal business partners, IT, banks, and vendors is preferred.

• Experience in supporting process improvements, internal controls, procedure documentation, audit requirements, or compliance-related activities is preferred.
