Senior Business Systems Analyst – Quote to Revenue

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the daily operations and integrations of the Quote to Revenue architecture, which encompasses Zuora CPQ, Billing, and Zuora Revenue, along with upstream Salesforce CRM integration and downstream NetSuite GL integration.

• Facilitate end-to-end dependencies across various applications to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.

• Collaborate with Revenue Accounting and Revenue Operations teams to comprehend business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to define solutions and assist in the implementation of Zuora Billing and Revenue Recognition systems.

• Evaluate complex financial data and enhance billing and revenue processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Collect and document business requirements for implementations of Zuora CPQ, RevPro, and Billing.

• Review existing billing and revenue recognition processes to pinpoint gaps and potential improvements.

• Convert business needs into functional specifications, including process flows, user stories, and data mappings.

• Lead the configuration of Zuora CPQ, Billing, and RevPro.

• Create integrations and automations using platforms such as Workato.

• Suggest solutions and requirements grounded in OTC system best practices and knowledge of financial processes.

• Oversee release processes, perform system testing, and troubleshoot issues while maintaining internal control standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• More than 6 years as a Business Analyst or Techno Functional Consultant specializing in billing and revenue recognition systems.

• At least 4 years of practical experience with Zuora CPQ, Billing, and Zuora RevPro.

• A strong foundation in subscription billing, revenue recognition, and financial systems, with an understanding of compliance requirements.

• In-depth knowledge of Zuora CPQ, Zuora 360, and integration with Salesforce and the Zuora billing system.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Zuora Billing, including subscription management, invoicing, collections, and payment processing.

• A thorough understanding of Zuora RevPro, coupled with practical experience in revenue recognition and compliance standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15).

• Familiarity with integrating Zuora with other external systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM, NetSuite ERP, and financial reporting systems).

• Proficiency in business process modeling and tools such as Lucid Chart, JIRA, Asana, or similar platforms for project tracking and management.

• Experience with Salesforce CRM and NetSuite GL is an advantage.

• Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate intricate business processes into technical requirements.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both finance and technical teams.
