Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Provide support for JLL's PeopleSoft 9.2 Financial Management platform within the IT department.

• Monitor system performance, ensure data integrity, enhance user experience, oversee batch processes, and maintain platform health.

• Address complex production issues through thorough root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.

• Manage incident responses, prioritize issues based on business impact, and facilitate timely resolutions.

• Review, test, and execute configuration changes effectively.

• Collect requirements from finance and accounting teams and convert them into functional specifications.

• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for proposed changes.

• Provide support for PeopleSoft enhancements, implementations, integrations, and rollouts across various business units and regions.

• Develop and maintain functional specifications, system documentation, process guides, training materials, and user manuals.

• Design, coordinate, and conduct user acceptance testing, regression testing, and data validation testing.

• Offer expert end-user support and act as the subject matter expert for PeopleSoft Financial Modules.

• Analyze system performance, optimize operations, investigate data issues using SQL and PSQuery, and enhance processes through automation.

• Collaborate with Oracle support, third-party vendors, and Level 2+ technical teams.

• Mentor junior team members and facilitate knowledge transfer across IT teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience supporting PeopleSoft Financial Management 9.2 in a corporate IT setting.

• A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Extensive functional knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 modules with a strong background in production support methodologies.

• Proficiency in system monitoring and incident management.

• SQL skills and experience with PSQuery for quick troubleshooting and data analysis.

• Solid understanding of financial closing processes and month-end support requirements.

• Outstanding communication and incident management skills.

• Proven ability to thrive under pressure during critical business periods.
