Application Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality implementations, upgrades, and support for applications at Franciscan Alliance.

• Conduct needs assessments and perform impact analyses.

• Gain a thorough understanding of business processes and relevant application areas.

• Oversee new installations and optimize system performance.

• Provide continuous troubleshooting assistance for applications.

• Research and offer insights on potential system enhancements.

• Gather and report stakeholder feedback on ongoing enhancements.

• Manage small to medium-sized projects in line with Franciscan Alliance methodologies.

• Set professional development, project, and support objectives in collaboration with management.

• Offer on-call and after-hours support for applications.

• Adhere to incident, change, and request management protocols.

• Document workflows, standards, and business processes effectively.

• Work collaboratively with vendors on implementation, upgrades, support, and troubleshooting efforts.

• Lead discussions with business users to determine application requirements and workflows.

• Assist in the development of training programs.

• Design, configure, and maintain applications.

• Manage projects independently without PMO oversight.

• Act as a subject matter expert while identifying downstream impacts.

• Research, analyze, and present potential system enhancement requirements.

• Conduct testing of applications and workflows, reporting outcomes to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• EPIC Ambulatory certification or accreditation is required.

• Experience in referrals, Order Transmittal, and Prescription Ordering and Management (E-Prescribing and Electronic Prior Authorization) is essential.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience is required, unless promotional criteria are met.

• Preferred experience includes 5 years of relevant work background.

• An Associate's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred.

• Capability to provide on-call and after-hours support is necessary.

• Travel is rarely or never required.
