Senior Business System Analyst – ML Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mali.

📋 Description

• Contribute to AI integrations for Acumatica by developing a chat interface that incorporates AI into the daily tasks of Acumatica users.

• Specialize in intricate API integrations and user interface design for B2B/ERP systems.

• Collaborate with product managers and the support team to pinpoint and clarify business requirements.

• Assess competitors' offerings and stay updated on emerging technologies, products, and features within the ERP sector.

• Partner with software developers, product managers, and fellow analysts to grasp technical concepts and convert business needs into technical specifications, including various integrations.

• Gather information from diverse sources; analyze, test, and document functionality as needed for design tasks.

• Organize information and create functional design specifications and technical requirements.

• Work alongside software developers and QA engineers throughout the programming, debugging, and testing phases of new or enhanced functionalities.

• Conduct acceptance testing and report any bugs encountered.

• Address customer issues and propose effective solutions.

• Present features and enhancements to both technical and non-technical audiences and manage their feedback.

• Collaborate with product managers to assist in refining the product backlog.

⛳️ Requirements

• A higher education degree in computer systems, systems and networks; information systems and technologies, system analysis and management, computational mathematics, or informatics.

• Over 10 years of experience in system analysis, software design, and developing functional specifications.

• More than 10 years of experience within the business software development industry.

• Prior experience as a Software Developer, Programming Analyst, or in any coding-related role is highly advantageous.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, software engineering processes, and the software product lifecycle.

• Possess user empathy, with the ability to model user behavior and identify flaws in existing applications.

• Exhibit system thinking and manage complexity at various levels.

• Capability to organize extensive information, decompose objects and processes, synthesize solutions, and perform impact analysis of changes.

• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

• Business analysis experience for complex business products (similar to ERP) and products with a continuous life cycle and maintenance is a plus.

• Experience with C# .NET is a plus.

• Familiarity with microservices or cloud services integration is beneficial.

• Proficient in English is mandatory.

• Knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
