Senior Business Process Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Drive the development of business cases for proposed initiatives, evaluating opportunities, risks, and potential return on investment.

• Aid in strategic and business planning, which includes contributing to initiatives, prioritization, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Convert approved business cases into actionable initiatives, complete with documentation and clearly defined responsibilities.

• Oversee large-scale, cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing performance, achieving financial improvements, boosting customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance.

• Offer strategic and policy advice to enhance effective implementation and outcomes.

• Assemble work teams, create project plans, lead meetings, foster consensus, document recommendations, and supervise execution.

• Evaluate data, workflows, policies, procedures, staff organization, and skill sets.

• Utilize project management tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project.

• Supervise staff responsible for initiatives within the company’s operating plan and assist in their development and completion.

• Support project leaders with facilitation, analysis, process mapping, brainstorming, and resolving project management challenges.

• Compose and present communications across the organization regarding process improvement initiatives.

• Provide relevant support to enhance business performance.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI is required.

• A minimum of 6 years managing projects is required.

• Experience in healthcare and/or insurance is preferred.

• A Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.

• Process quality certification is preferred.

• PMP certification specifically for Health Net and Enterprise Business Operations is preferred.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
