Business Intelligence Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain engaging, user-oriented reports and dashboards utilizing Qlik tools.

• Deliver data analysis and visualization for immediate business inquiries or client demands using Qlik, SQL, and other relevant tools.

• Collect and comprehend business reporting requirements and convert them into reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

• Examine data to uncover and present insights, anomalies, patterns, and trends.

• Assist in the development and upkeep of reporting metrics and key performance indicators.

• Conduct data validation and testing to guarantee the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of dashboards, reports, and their underlying data.

• Resolve reporting and data challenges and investigate and address discrepancies with team members.

• Improve existing dashboards, reports, and reporting processes based on business needs and user feedback.

• Acquire knowledge of organizational data sources, business intelligence methodologies, and data governance standards.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required.

• Required proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R; proficiency can be acquired through academic, internship, or professional experience.

• Preferred experience in analytics, data modeling, business intelligence, or a related field through academic, internship, or professional experience.

• Preferred experience with or exposure to business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, SAS, Power BI, or similar technologies.

• Actively participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.

• Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

• Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
