Manager – Project Cost Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial tasks.

• Oversee financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis for various projects.

• Aggregate actual cost data from various financial systems to provide a holistic view of project financial status.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and sponsors on estimating, monthly forecasting, and precise Estimates at Complete (EACs).

• Address discrepancies in invoices and time-tracking.

• Track purchase orders to ensure all expenses are accurately recorded.

• Analyze financial variances.

• Coordinate re-baselining activities to keep project financial plans accurate.

• Work together with Program/Project Managers, other Cost Reporting Analysts, and Financial Professionals.

• Facilitate data-driven decision-making for assigned projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally, a university degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 6+ years’ experience OR, in the absence of a degree, 8+ years of pertinent experience.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel for pivots and analysis.

• Capability to prioritize tasks amidst multiple competing activities and deadlines.

• Preferred experience in developing and analyzing financial business cases and/or cost/benefit analyses.

• Familiarity with SAP/APEX or other ERP Financial systems and Planview Portfolios is preferred.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, across all organizational levels are preferred.

• Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• Ability to influence others.
