Senior Business Intelligence Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and uphold enterprise-level BI solutions, dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting functionalities.

• Convert intricate business requirements into user-friendly data visualizations and analytical solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend reporting needs, establish KPIs, and provide insights.

• Develop and enhance data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks.

• Generate interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Examine large datasets to uncover trends, opportunities, and business risks.

• Guarantee data quality, consistency, and governance throughout reporting solutions.

• Set up BI development standards, best practices, and documentation protocols.

• Diagnose and address reporting issues while enhancing analytics solutions.

• Guide junior developers and bolster the organization’s BI capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Warehouse development.

• Advanced skills in SQL, query optimization, and relational database architecture.

• Significant experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Proficiency in data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehouse principles.

• Capability to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Experience working with extensive and complex datasets in enterprise settings.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Preferred: experience with Python or R for advanced analytics, automation, or data transformation.

• Preferred: knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and data science methodologies.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.

• Preferred: experience in constructing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Preferred: familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and master data management.

• Preferred: experience in Financial Services, FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, or Technology.

• Preferred: previous experience mentoring analysts, BI developers, or technical team members.
