This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Design, develop, and sustain enterprise-level Power BI solutions, encompassing data models, semantic layers, and interactive dashboards.
• Enhance Power BI performance through techniques such as query folding, model size optimization, and DAX tuning.
• Implement components of Microsoft Fabric, including Direct Lake, Lakehouse, and semantic models.
• Employ Medallion architecture principles throughout analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on ETL/ELT pipeline development.
• Ensure data integrity by validating it using SQL and applicable business rules.
• Merge financial, sales, and operational datasets into cohesive reporting environments.
• Create advanced DAX measures, KPIs, and business logic.
• Establish and uphold BI development standards, governance frameworks, version control, and documentation.
• Formulate standardized financial reporting frameworks for forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
• Convert financial and operational data into insights and recommendations suitable for executive review.
• Spearhead FP&A modernization through automation, workflow enhancements, AI-assisted analytics, and Copilot functionalities.
• Create scalable reporting processes that boost accuracy, minimize cycle times, and improve analytical consistency.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure analytical alignment.
• Oversee cross-functional analytics initiatives while managing scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the organization's data literacy.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, FP&A analytics, or related domains.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, semantic model design, and performance enhancement.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Direct Lake, Lakehouse, or modern data architectures.
• Familiarity with Python for data transformation or automation tasks.
• Strong grasp of data modeling techniques, star schema design, and BI governance principles.
• Solid understanding of financial statements.
• Proven experience in analyzing revenue, margin, product/category performance, and operational KPIs.
• Ability to convert analytical outcomes into strategic business insights.
• Skill in clearly communicating complex results to non-technical stakeholders.
