This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee all Business Development Open Systems Solutions activities for the US Navy/USMC MiS enterprise.
• Identify and create market requirements and go-to-market strategies for next-generation platforms and upgrades to existing capability platforms.
• Develop, forecast, and secure new enterprise opportunities for SBU.
• Foster and maintain important relationships with OEMs and both new and existing customers within the US Navy/USMC.
• Lead the Pursuit, Order, Capture (POC) initiatives.
• Direct Real/Win/Worth initiatives.
• Oversee price-to-win strategies.
• Provide support for the US Navy and USMC Open Systems Solutions Portfolio.
• Travel to RTX facilities across the US as needed.
• Generally requires a University Degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field along with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• A valid and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret Security Clearance is necessary before the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Experience with the US Navy/USMC and DoD in areas such as Power Projection and Force Application, Dynamic Long Range Fires, Weapons, and Autonomy CONOPs and Use Cases.
• Over 10 years of experience in the DoD and/or Business Development in a related field.
• Strong skills in collaboration and leadership.
• Proven experience in leadership roles within OPNAV, TYCOM, or COCOM.
• Preferred knowledge of the US Navy/USMC's vision for a multi-domain, connected battlespace, including CJADC2 efforts, requirements development, and PAE acquisition processes.
• Experience or knowledge regarding multi-constellation SATCOM and MOSA processing and communication capabilities is preferred.
• Qualified Weapons School Graduate or Tactics Instructor preferred.
• Familiarity with US DoD budget and procurement processes is preferred.
• Comfortable engaging with DoD SMEs and senior leaders is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 30–50 percent to any RTX facility within the US.
