This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Develop and spearhead strategic roadmaps for business application initiatives.
• Approve and prioritize technological modifications and deployments.
• Provide guidance to executives and business segment leaders on the management of business applications.
• Identify necessary capabilities and prioritize portfolios for new programs.
• Create and manage budgets, ensuring proper utilization of funds.
• Ensure compliance with risk controls, privacy, legal, and data governance requirements.
• Analyze current and future-state processes related to application functions and features.
• Lead efforts in operational enhancements and continuous business process improvements.
• Support change management initiatives and communications regarding application, feature, function, business rules, and process modifications.
• Manage risk and audit assessments, including BARA/BTRA, Basel, ORM review, and pRCSA.
• Oversee adherence to SLAs, issue management, vendor relations, user group support, and application adoption.
• Maintain a three-year roadmap that aligns with the overall business strategy.
• Oversee the strategy for application management, delivery, performance, data access and integrity, retention and disposition, remediation, prioritization, and communications.
• Manage application and technology budgets while prioritizing strategic initiatives.
• Serve as a business subject-matter expert in enterprise programs and project documentation.
• Handle access approvals and attestation processes.
• Communicate planned system outages to business partners effectively.
• Review and approve project documentation and deployment plans.
• Evaluate and approve project intake requests, providing direction for initiatives.
• Monitor project progress and assist with monthly reporting for projects and executive dashboards.
• Cultivate relationships with business, technology, vendor, and stakeholder groups.
• Oversee the implementation of solutions, optimizing service availability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Mentor team members, share knowledge, and contribute to the professional development of colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical certification.
• Over 10 years of pertinent experience.
• Advanced understanding of supported businesses, applications, bank's PDLC methodology, business testing, project management, change management, and governance standards.
• Familiarity with functional policies, procedures, and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Awareness of current and emerging trends in the competitive landscape and market.
• Proficiency in mentoring, coaching, and managing performance.
• Competence in using computer applications, including MS Office.
• Advanced capability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written forms.
• Capacity to collaborate and build relationships across teams and functions.
• Proficient in working both as a team member and independently.
• Sound judgment in decision-making processes.
• Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize tasks while meeting multiple deadlines.
• Discretion in handling confidential information.
• Capacity to contribute to strategic direction and provide counsel to senior leadership.
• Willingness to travel domestically on occasion.
• Ability to perform sedentary work and operate standard office equipment continuously.
