Senior Business Analyst – Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Lead analytical and project support for strategic initiatives.

• Perform in-depth root cause analysis on complex business challenges.

• Synthesize insights to formulate clear and concise recommendations.

• Create and present executive-level presentations.

• Manage project deliverables, timelines, and success criteria in collaboration with analytics partners, business stakeholders, and management.

• Design and implement training programs, standard operating processes, and tracking systems for field leaders.

• Provide analytical and project support for both routine and ad-hoc strategy requests.

• Contribute to internal strategy consulting and Design for the Future business innovation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline is required.

• 4+ years of proven successful experience in analytical and project management roles.

• Experience with a leading strategy consultancy or a corporate strategy function is preferred.

• Prior experience in distribution, retail, CPG, or a related industry is advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to develop strategies that address complex business challenges.

• Familiarity with creating and structuring data frameworks and extracting data from diverse systems.

• Proficient in gathering, organizing, and accurately reporting information and data.

• Ability to build consensus, lead workstreams, and advance progress on assigned projects.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.

• Excellent presentation skills, with comfort presenting to senior management.

• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical software; SQL knowledge is a plus.

• Willingness to travel for business on occasion, approximately 10%.
