Business Systems Analyst – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Strategize, design, develop, and implement effective business, financial, and operational systems.

• Collect and evaluate data that supports business cases, proposed initiatives, and system requirements.

• Produce reports detailing probable causes and potential solutions for system-related issues.

• Conduct research, troubleshoot problems, and gather facts.

• Conceptualize, develop, and execute software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.

• Support the organization's goals and objectives.

• Create system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts using Microsoft Visio.

• Assess the business implications of technology applications in both current and future business landscapes.

• Coordinate the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions.

• Improve process automation utilizing an Enterprise Scheduler and/or RPA tools.

• Evaluate database hardware, software, standards, data retrieval methods, and mainframe applications.

• Serve as a project leader as assigned.

• Supervise solution design, development, and implementation at Level III.

• Mentor and guide less-experienced Business Systems Analysts under general supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of one year of combined experience in Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, or Management Information Systems is required for Level I; three years for Level II; five years for Level III.

• Familiarity with core software applications.

• Understanding of fundamental programming concepts, including command sequences, conditional structures, and looping mechanisms.

• Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards for Level II.

• Advanced experience in system analysis and applying technology to business environments for Level III.

• Proficient in analyzing database hardware and software for Level III.

• Practical experience in automation development, including UiPath, Workbot technologies, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and agentic AI capabilities.

• Ability to identify, analyze, and implement scalable automation opportunities.

• Experience with Microsoft Visio.

• Level II knowledge of PowerOn, VB.NET, VBScript, and T-SQL.

• Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.

• Experience in importing data into reporting software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.

• Capability to work independently in certain phases of system analysis.

• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet deadlines.
