Senior Business Analyst – Servicing Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business operations and system data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for enhancing processes.

• Design and sustain reporting solutions utilizing data warehouse platforms like Snowflake.

• Create and manage SQL queries and stored procedures for the extraction, transformation, and validation of data from various operational systems.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect reporting and analytics requirements.

• Develop dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Tableau or comparable BI tools.

• Verify and reconcile data across systems to guarantee accuracy and consistency in reporting.

• Detect and resolve data discrepancies, including missing or incorrect information.

• Convert business needs into technical reporting and analytics solutions.

• Produce documentation for reporting processes, data sources, and business logic.

• Present findings and insights to cross-functional teams and leadership through presentations and reports.

• Partner with technology and data teams to enhance data quality and reporting infrastructure.

• Support project management related to reporting, analytics, and process enhancements.

• Offer mentorship and guidance to junior analysts as required.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

• Carry out additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouse platforms.

• Strong background in SQL querying and data analysis.

• Familiarity with Tableau or other business intelligence/reporting tools.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Four (4) to six (6) years of pertinent business analysis, reporting, or data analytics experience.

• Experience in mortgage servicing and credit reporting is preferred.

• No certificates, licenses, or registrations are required.

• Ability to satisfactorily perform each essential function.

• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

• Capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
