Senior Business Analyst – Retirement and Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Comprehend the business needs of clients, specifically in Retirement and Insurance, and convert them into well-defined, detailed User Stories.

• Specify both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Create and uphold high-level technical documentation, which includes traceability matrices, data models, prototypes/mockups, and solution journeys.

• Advocate for the project scope with the development team.

• Model business processes effectively.

• Manage changes to requirements through efficient communication.

• Estimate analysis hours, effort, and complexity involved.

• Assist in annual demand planning efforts.

• Provide training to junior analysts.

• Act as a communication bridge between stakeholders.

• Ensure that solutions align with the company's requirements and objectives.

• Perform advanced data analysis, recognize trends, and suggest business opportunities to foster growth for the Business Unit and its clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive and consistent experience (at least 6 years) in the role, showcased across various and intricate technology project environments.

• Strong understanding of Retirement and Insurance concepts.

• Expertise in process design, requirements elicitation, and process modeling.

• Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies (Agile or traditional).

• Experience with databases and SQL.

• Knowledge of programming logic and system integration (APIs/Web Services).

• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a solid business systems perspective for solving complex problems.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Postgraduate qualifications and/or certifications in pertinent areas (Technology, Retirement, and Insurance).

• Proficient in advanced English and intermediate Spanish.

• Understanding of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

• Ability to adapt to change, possess emotional intelligence, urgency, prioritization skills, and robust organizational capabilities.

• Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to deadlines and quality assurance.

• Strong problem-solving skills and logical reasoning.
