Business Systems Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business needs.

• Assess current business processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and system documentation.

• Work alongside project managers, developers, quality assurance teams, and business partners throughout the project lifecycle.

• Assist with system implementation activities, including testing, validation, and deployment.

• Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and discussions on solution design.

• Analyze system enhancements and pinpoint opportunities for process optimization.

• Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and training materials.

• Support projects utilizing Waterfall, Agile, or Lean development methodologies.

• Provide continuous analysis and support for business applications and system-related initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business systems analysis or a related field.

• Proven experience in gathering, documenting, and managing both business and system requirements.

• Background in supporting technology-related projects and the implementation of business systems.

• Strong skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process documentation.

• Ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile/Lean frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in facilitating meetings, workshops, and cross-functional discussions.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, lookup functions, and data analysis, is strongly preferred.

• Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.

• Experience in supporting enterprise business systems and driving process improvement initiatives is preferred.

• Professional certifications related to business analysis, Agile methodologies, or project delivery are preferred.

• Experience in financial services, insurance, or a highly regulated industry is preferred.
