Senior Business Analyst – Health Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to pinpoint business challenges and devise appropriate analytical solutions.

• Plan and design straightforward to moderately complex business processes and system adjustments.

• Suggest enhancements to support and improve business operations.

• Collect, analyze, and document intricate business requirements and processes through workshops and interviews.

• Convey business requirements to the relevant stakeholders.

• Develop complex test scenarios and oversee business application testing.

• Create business requirements documents and user stories.

• Organize, delegate, and supervise the work of other business analysts as necessary.

• Comprehend systems and associated data to unveil actionable insights and exhibit sound judgment.

• Assist in estimating project task durations.

• Revise process and procedural documentation.

• Acquire a fundamental understanding of the technical development lifecycle for mobile applications or web portals.

• Support QA, UAT, and Release phases through defect analysis and change management.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• A degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

• Prior experience in the health insurance sector is essential.

• Experience in insurtech is a plus.

• Health insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is advantageous.

• Proficiency in business analysis concepts including requirement definition, translation into technical solutions, and an Agile approach to prioritizing work into epics and sprints.

• Business analysis competencies such as facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines within set timeframes.

• Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment is required.

• Basic knowledge in creating process documentation, documenting system functionality, data integration, and workflows.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Technical writing skills are a plus.
