Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product owners to convert business goals, product roadmaps, and stakeholder requirements into actionable tasks and backlog items.

• Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions to gain insights into business processes, objectives, challenges, and opportunities.

• Create clear, concise, and testable user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements that facilitate Agile delivery.

• Work with product owners and delivery teams to refine and prioritize product backlogs.

• Evaluate business requirements for completeness, feasibility, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.

• Record workflows, business processes, system requirements, and solution designs utilizing diagrams, process maps, and other analytical tools.

• Assist in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Monitor and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that changes are communicated and documented effectively.

• Generate reports, recommendations, and solution alternatives to address business and system challenges.

• Act as a liaison between business needs and technical solutions.

• Gather and interpret requirements to ensure that systems and applications provide value to both members and employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Between 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Business Analysis or Product Development is necessary.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, systems, or products.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

• Proven experience in eliciting requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and documenting business processes.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio is required.

• Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar Agile work management tool is preferred.

• Education or certification in Business Analysis or Software Development is a plus.
